The state forecast said rain or thundershowers were very likely at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh. It also carried a warning for thunderstorms with lightning in eastern parts. Rainfall was also reported in Kanpur at 21.4 mm and in Jhansi at 6.3 mm, officials said.
