Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited night shelters on Wednesday, distributing blankets and food to those in need. He instructed officials to ensure that no one remains unsheltered during the winter. Adequate beds and blankets should be available, and cleanliness must be maintained. If anyone lacks food, arrangements should be made to provide meals, according to an official statement.

During a surprise inspection, the Chief Minister's convoy first stopped at Mill Colony. Here, he interacted with residents, inquiring about their well-being. He then moved on to Laxman Mela Road. The shelters housed people from various districts, some visiting Lucknow for medical treatment and others for personal reasons.
Ensuring Comfort and Safety
The Chief Minister asked residents if they faced any issues at the shelters. The feedback was positive, with residents expressing satisfaction with the current arrangements. During his visits, he distributed blankets and food not only to those inside the shelters but also to those outside.
The night shelters accommodated individuals from different parts of the state. Some were in Lucknow for medical purposes, while others had personal matters to attend to. The Chief Minister assured everyone of the government's commitment to supporting the underprivileged.
The government's focus remains on providing necessary support and services to those in need during the harsh winter months. By ensuring adequate facilities and resources, the administration aims to safeguard the well-being of all citizens.
