UPSC Mains 2024: Admit Cards Expected By August 30; Find Download Steps And Exam Dates Here
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is set to conduct the Civil Services Mains examination from September 20 to September 29.
According to the schedule released in early August, the Mains exam will be held on September 20, 21, 22, 28, and 29. Each exam day will feature two sessions: the morning session from 9 AM to 12 Noon, and the afternoon session from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

As of now, the UPSC has not yet released the admit cards for the Mains exam. Based on previous years' trends, the admit cards are expected to be available by August 30, on the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in.
Only candidates who passed the Preliminary examination are eligible to sit for the Mains exam. This year, the results of the Preliminary exam were announced on July 1, and a total of 14,627 candidates qualified. The UPSC aims to fill 1,056 vacancies through this recruitment drive, including 40 positions reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
The Mains exam schedule is as follows:
- Essay Paper: September 20
- General Studies Paper I and II: September 21
- General Studies Paper III and IV: September 22
- Indian Language and English Papers: September 28
- Optional Subject Papers 1 and 2: September 29
To download the UPSC Civil Services Mains 2024 admit card, candidates should:
1. Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in.
2. Locate the 'E-Admit Card' section on the homepage.
3. Click on the link for the UPSC Civil Services Mains Admit Card 2024.
4. Enter the required credentials on the redirected page.
5. The admit card will be displayed; candidates should verify all details and download it.
6. Print the admit card for future reference.
