UP: Unclaimed vehicle triggers security scare at Narendra Modi's rally

The Chennai blast yesterday has tightened security for Narendra Modi during his rallies across the country, as it is suspected that the bomb attack was meant to happen in Andhra Pradesh, had the train run on schedule. Investigators believe that the actual target was Modi.
A senior police official yesterday said,"Modi is on the hitlist of terrorists... and in view of the blasts in Chennai today, additional security was provided to him during his visit to Andhra Pradesh later in the day. Security was also tightened in the areas, where he addressed rallies (in Seemandhra). Certain areas were cordoned off." ON the request of Modi's security details, additional personnel were provided to him prior to the five rallies yesterday in Andhra Pradesh.
Today, Modi is likely to address four Bharat Vijay rallies in Uttar Pradesh in Shravasti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, and Gonda.
