The case was heard at the Lucknow Bench of the High Court with Justices Vivek Chaudhary and Manish Kumar presiding over it. They were hearing a writ petition filed by Avadhesh Sharma, Chief Operation Officer (COO) of Amethi's Sanjay Gandhi Hospital who sought details pertaining to the case.
