UP Crime: Accused Who Killed 2 Children With Axe, Shot Dead In Police Encounter In Budaun
UP Crime: According to a police report, an accused, who killed two children in Uttar Pradesh's Badaun, was shot dead when he tried to flee. The report said the accused had recently opened a salon in the area, and over some dispute, he forcefully entered a house, where he attacked people with an axe. In the deadly attack, 2 were reportedly dead on the spot and one got severely injured.
Police identified the deceased as Ayush (12) and Ahaan (8), while Yuvraj (8) was admitted to the hospital, and his condition is still critical.

Shedding light on the shocking and saddening incident, Bareilly IG Rakesh Kumar told the media that the incident took place on Tuesday evening. After being informed, the police reached the spot swiftly, and when the police asked the accused to surrender, he opened fire at the police and tried to escape. In retaliatory fire, police knocked down the accused.
Budaun District Magistrate Manoj Kumar said the unfortunate incident happened in the Baba colony near the Mandi Samiti outpost where a man killed two kids inside their house. At the time of the incident, only their grandmother was in the house and three brothers were playing on the roof when the attacker entered their house.

It was learned that the third brother jumped from the terrace to save himself. Later, grandmother and the kid, locked themselves in a room until police arrived, the DM said.
"We received information this evening that a man entered a house and murdered two young children aged 11 and 6 years. After this, we increased security arrangements in the locality," he added.
When the family members of the deceased came back home and learned about the incident, they vandalised the shop of the Barbar. The police lodged the complaint and sent the dead bodies of the kids for autopsy test.
Exact reason behind the crime is yet to be discovered.
