Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during his usual janata darshan, was moved by the pain of an elderly mother, whose son is diagnosed with cancer, and sent the boy immediately to the hospital. The incident occurred on Monday.

The woman, hailing from Kanpur, expressed her family's inability to afford treatment due to financial constraints and the lack of an Ayushman card. In response, CM Yogi promptly arranged for the patient to be transported via government ambulance to the Kalyan Singh Super Speciality Cancer Institute in Lucknow, where treatment commenced immediately.

The public grievance hearing held by the Chief Minister saw over 50 attendees from various parts of the state. Each individual was personally met by CM Yogi, who attentively listened to their concerns and instructed officials to take swift action to address their issues. Among these individuals was a mother whose emotional appeal deeply affected the Chief Minister.

The elderly woman from Raipurwa, Kanpur, shared her distress with CM Yogi, stating, "My young son has cancer. We are poor and cannot afford treatment. We don't even have an Ayushman Bharat card. Please save my son's life. Please provide some financial assistance for his treatment." Her words resonated with the Chief Minister, who is known for his belief that serving humanity equates to serving God.

Moved by her plight, CM Yogi immediately ordered that her son be taken directly to the Kalyan Singh Super Speciality Cancer Institute by ambulance. He ensured that the best possible medical care was provided without delay. Following his instructions, the patient was swiftly transported from Janata Darshan to the hospital where medical tests began promptly.
