UP CM Yogi Adityanath Holds Meeting for Launching Fourth Phase of Mission Shakti Campaign
On Tuesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath convened a meeting to deliberate on the initiation of the fourth phase of Mission Shakti campaign, a project dedicated to promoting women's empowerment. As per an official statement issued in Lucknow, the CM underscored the necessity for robust security measures across the state in anticipation of forthcoming festivals.
Mission Shakti's Positive Impact

The CM noted that Mission Shakti, an initiative by the state government, has made meaningful strides towards creating a positive societal change. The next stage of this impactful campaign is scheduled to commence on October 14 with a bike rally designed to raise public awareness about both central and state government schemes aimed at empowering women.
Role of Female Officers and Departments
In his address, Adityanath stressed that female officers stationed in various fields should take it upon themselves to educate women about these aforementioned government schemes. He further stated that all departments involved with Mission Shakti Abhiyan should conduct awareness programmes on October 14 and 15. Following these initial campaigns, department-specific events should be arranged from October 16 onwards.
Security Measures during Festivals
Apart from discussing plans for Mission Shakti’s upcoming phase, Adityanath also called for heightened police patrolling during festival times. He advocated for continuous surveillance at various administrative levels - state-wide as well as within commissionerates and ranges. Additionally, he proposed that discussions be held with Durga Puja committees regarding strategic placement of deity idols in public places to ensure maximum safety and security.
In conclusion, Uttar Pradesh appears ready not only to bolster its efforts towards women empowerment but also enhance its security arrangements ahead of festive celebrations under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership. With initiatives like Mission Shakti, the state government seeks to create a safer and more inclusive environment for women. The fourth phase of this campaign, characterized by awareness drives and department-specific programmes, is expected to further strengthen its impact on society.
