UP Cabinet Expansion: OP Rajbhar, Dara Singh Chauhan, 2 Others Get Ministerial Posts In Yogi Adityanath Govt
With the Lok Sabha elections 2024 around the corner, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leaving no stone unturned. Four new ministers from BJP and its allies were inducted into Uttar Pradesh's Yogi Adityanath Government to woo the maximum number of people on Tuesday. The new ministers are Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) chief OP Rajbhar, and new alliance partner Rashtriya Lok Dal's (RLD) Anil Kumar.
However, the other two ministers are from the state ruling BJP - Dara Singh Chauhan and Sunil Sharma.

According to the reports, all these four ministers have a massive following which may power NDA to achieve the target of 400+ seats set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Lok Sabha elections 2024.
UP Governor Anandiben Patel administered the swearing-in ceremony for cabinet expansion.
"The welfare schemes of the government will be taken to poor people. The instances of violence that used to happen in Uttar Pradesh when Congress and SP were in power have not taken place in the last seven years," OP Rajbhar said after taking the oath as new state cabinet minister.
BJP's Sunil Kumar Sharma, after taking the oath, said, "The responsibility that has been given to me by the Chief Minister and the party will be carried out responsibly. I will do what I learned while being in the party...In Lok Sabha elections, we will win all 80 seats this time."
BJP leader Dara Singh Chauhan thanked the party's top brass for giving him the opportunity as a cabinet minister. He said he will carry out his duties with complete responsibility as he has done in the past. "I will do the same today as well...We will work so diligently that we will win all 80 seats in the state and make PM Modi the Prime Minister for the third time by securing more than 400 seats," he further added.
