Union Home Minister Amit Shah Compliments PM Modi for New Autonomous Body Mera Yuva Bharat
Union Home Minister Amit Shah lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decision to establish Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), a new autonomous body aimed at fostering youth-led development in India. The Union Cabinet, under the leadership of PM Modi, has given its approval for this initiative that is expected to serve as a significant enabling mechanism for the nation's youth.

Mera Yuva Bharat is envisioned as an aggregation of the country’s youthful energy that will drive India towards a promising future. "The primary objective of this platform is youth development," wrote Shah on social media platform X. He further stated that MY Bharat will be instrumental in bringing together the ideas, aspirations and diligence of Indian youths. This platform aims to provide them with access to government resources and opportunities to contribute towards nation-building activities.
The Visionary Decision
Shah expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards PM Modi for this visionary decision which he believes could significantly alter the trajectory of India's growth story by involving young minds directly into shaping their own future and that of their country. This move comes at a time when there are growing concerns about unemployment among educated youths in India.
Dedication & Launch
In honor of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, one of the key leaders in Indian Independence movement, MY Bharat will be dedicated to the nation on his birth anniversary i.e., October 31st. Union minister Anurag Thakur highlighted how MY Bharat would ensure equitable access for all youths across different strata and regions so they can actualize their aspirations while contributing towards building a developed India.
Aims & Beneficiaries
This initiative seeks not just economic but also moral upliftment through instilling 'Kartavya Bodh' (sense of duty) and 'Seva Bodh' (sense of service) among the young population during 'Amrit Kaal'. This platform will cater to youths in the age group of 15-29 years, aligning with the definition of Youth as per National Youth Policy. It aims to facilitate their voluntary participation in various government initiatives.
In conclusion, Mera Yuva Bharat represents a significant step forward in India's efforts towards fostering youth-led development. By providing a platform for youth engagement and contribution towards nation-building, it promises to tap into an often underutilized demographic dividend that is poised to drive India's growth story. As we look ahead, it would be interesting to see how MY Bharat shapes up and impacts not just the lives of Indian youths but also the broader socio-economic landscape of the country.
