Uddhav takes a dig at PM Modi over 'Diwali gift'
On changes in tax rates under GST, he alleged that these changes were announced in light of forthcoming Gujarat election.
Soon after Prime Minister Narendra Modi called changes announced by GST council a 'Diwali gift', Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray sought more changes in GST rules.

Uddhav Thackeray, said: "Changes announced by GST Council are not Diwali gift. Several more changes are required."
Thackeray thanked the central government for reducing tax slabs under GST, but questioned: "whether the government would refund the tax collected so far on after the changes in GST rates ?"
On changes in tax rates under GST, he alleged that these changes were announced in light of forthcoming Gujarat election.
He further said that now decisions are being changed following opposition and dissatisfaction among people.
Asked about Shiv Sena joining NDA Alliance, he said, "We don't give an ultimatum to anyone.We take decision whenever we think so."
