Reports of UAE's ₹23 Lakh Golden Visa for Indians
Indian media had earlier reported that the UAE had launched a new Golden Visa pilot programme offering lifetime residency without property or business investment, exclusively for Indian and Bangladeshi nationals. The scheme was said to be nomination-based, with a one-time fee of AED 100,000 (~₹23.3 lakh) and open to a wide range of professionals, including teachers, nurses, content creators, and e-sports players. Applications were reportedly processed via Rayad Group and One Vasco centres.
The programme promised major benefits like lifetime residency, full work freedom, and family sponsorship-without employer dependence or asset requirements. Over 5,000 applicants were expected in three months.

New Update:
UAE Denies Golden Visa Pilot, Calls Reports False
The UAE's Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) has officially denied the existence of any such visa programme. All Golden Visa rules remain unchanged, and any claim of purchasing lifetime residency for ₹23 lakh is false.
Iqbal Marconi, a top visa consultant, confirmed there is no such scheme after checking with UAE authorities, including the GDRFA. The only recent change is the removal of crypto investors from eligibility.
The UAE emphasized that Golden Visas are still granted based on real estate investment, business ownership, or exceptional talent in specific sectors.
