Two Inmates Injured After Scuffle Breaks Between Two Groups In Delhi's Tihar Jail
In yet another shocking incident at Tihar Jail, an undertrial prisoner sustained injuries after being allegedly attacked by fellow inmates using an improvised knife and handmade tool on Monday, according to officials.
The incident took place at 12:38 pm within Central Jail No. 1 at the Tihar prison complex, authorities confirmed.

As per the officials, the inmates targeted Rahul, also known as Pawan, employing an improvised knife, handmade "sua" (a small, sharp tool), and a tile. One of the attackers, identified as undertrial prisoner Alok, alias Vishal, also inflicted injuries upon himself during the altercation.
Immediate action was taken by the jail staff, the Tamil Nadu Special Police, and the Quick Response Team, who swiftly intervened to separate the involved inmates, ensuring the situation was brought under control.
"After receiving primary medical assistance at the jail dispensary, both injured individuals were transferred to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital for further medical treatment," stated a jail official. Additionally, the incident has been reported to the Hari Nagar police station, urging them to file an FIR and initiate further legal actions regarding the matter, PTI reported.
Earlier, in yet another incident, jailed gangster Tillu Tajpuriya was brutally stabbed before the eyes of the jail staffs by the rival Jitender Gogi gang members, while another gangster Prince Tewatia was attacked in the jail by rival gang in another incident.
