Giribala Singh stated that Twisha had been undergoing psychiatric counselling and was allegedly taking medicines prescribed for schizophrenia-related treatment.
"She went for psychiatric counselling also, and medicines were prescribed to her, which are given to a schizophrenic patient," she claimed.
According to her, Twisha's condition would improve briefly before deteriorating again.
"She would remain stable for a day or so, but then again, there would be a slight change in her condition," Giribala Singh said.
She further alleged that the family had noticed physical symptoms that she associated with withdrawal problems.
"We observed some physical symptoms, a slight trembling in her hands, which is typical of withdrawal symptoms," she added.

"Twisha Was On Schizophrenic Drugs"
The retired judge also claimed that the family had continuously tried to help Twisha but ultimately failed to save her.
"Twisha was undergoing a 'mental training programme'; we supported her throughout. Her loss has created a huge vacuum for us," she said.
In another statement, she claimed:
"Twisha was on schizophrenic drugs, we failed to save her."
Giribala Singh also directly alleged that Twisha was addicted to narcotics.
"She was addicted to drugs, we failed to save her," she claimed during the press interaction.
These allegations have not been independently confirmed by investigators or medical authorities so far.
"We Are Being Treated Like Criminals"
Giribala Singh said her family had stood by Twisha despite her alleged struggles and expressed anger over being accused in the case.
"We supported her throughout, but now we are being treated like criminals," she said.
Rejecting allegations of pressure and intimidation, she claimed:
"We are not pressurising anyone. Her parents are trying to influence the case."
She also denied all accusations related to dowry demands and claimed that her family had financially supported Twisha's side instead.
"We even relinquished our family property for Twisha's family," Giribala Singh alleged.
The statement came amid continuing allegations by Twisha's family that she faced emotional harassment and cruelty inside the marriage.
Claims About Pregnancy And Modelling Aspirations
During the press conference, Giribala Singh made several more controversial claims related to Twisha's personal life, pregnancy and career ambitions.
According to her, Twisha had wanted to terminate her pregnancy after conceiving.
"Twisha wanted to abort the child after she became pregnant," she alleged.
She also claimed that Twisha's father gave her medicines to maintain a slim figure because she wanted to enter the glamour and acting industry.
"Her father gave her medicines to lose weight and maintain a good figure so she could enter the glamour world of acting," Giribala Singh said.
The retired judge further alleged that Twisha's own parents had distanced themselves from her.
"Twisha's parents never came to see her in five months. They had disowned her," she claimed.
Twisha's family has strongly denied earlier allegations made by the in-laws and has repeatedly maintained that she was mentally tortured after marriage.
Friend Questions Suicide Theory
As conflicting narratives continue to emerge, Twisha's friend Madhuri Patle publicly questioned the suicide angle while speaking from London.

Madhuri Patle said she found it difficult to believe that someone like Twisha, who was educated and independent, would choose suicide if she had support around her.
"Why would anyone today, when you are a model, have done an MBA, lived in different cities and become very confident, not choose other ways to walk away?" she asked.
She added:
"You can separate, you can get divorced. Why would somebody commit suicide?"
Referring to Twisha's reported final calls and messages to friends and relatives, Madhuri said:
"What I could understand from the reports is about the last phone call she made to her mother and the messages she sent to her cousin and friends. That shows she had a support system."
She further questioned:
"Why would somebody who has a support system commit suicide?"
Emotional Messages Earlier Triggered Public Outrage
The case had already drawn nationwide attention after Twisha's WhatsApp chats with her mother surfaced online.
In several reported messages, Twisha allegedly spoke about emotional suffering and loneliness inside her marriage.
One of the messages reportedly said:
"Mujhe bhaut zyada ghutan ho rahi hai maa."
("I feel terribly suffocated, Mother.")
Another message read:
"Mera jeevan narak ho gaya hai mummy."
("My life has become hell, Mom.")
She had also allegedly asked her mother:
"Maa aap mujhe yaha se lene aajao."
("Mom, please come and take me away from here.")
The emotional chats triggered widespread debate online, with many questioning whether her repeated pleas for help were ignored.
CCTV Footage Added Fresh Questions
The investigation gained further attention after CCTV footage reportedly surfaced showing Twisha climbing the staircase towards the terrace shortly before her death.
Another video allegedly showed three men carrying her body downstairs while attempts were made to revive her.
Investigators are currently examining the footage as part of the ongoing probe.
