TS TET 2025: Exam Starts Tomorrow, Subject-Wise Schedule And Admit Card Link Available
The Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET), also known as TG TET, is set to commence on January 2, 2025, under the administration of the Telangana School Education Department. With admissions cards already distributed via the official website tgtet2024.aptonline.in, this significant event marks an important date for aspiring teachers in Telangana. The examination, which is divided into two papers, aims to certify individuals for teaching positions across various school levels, with Paper 1 focusing on classes 1 to 5, and Paper 2 designed for those targeting positions in classes 6 to 8.

Exam Schedule and Structure:
The TS TET will be conducted in two daily sessions:

Session 1: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM

Session 2: 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM
The examination comprises two papers:

Paper 1: For candidates aiming to teach classes 1 to 5.

Candidates seeking eligibility to teach from classes 1 to 8 are required to appear for both papers.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must possess a DElEd/DEd/BEd/Language Pandit or equivalent qualification. Final-year students of these courses with the requisite percentage of marks are also eligible to apply.
Passing Criteria:

General Category: Minimum 60% marks

BC Category: Minimum 50% marks

SC/ST/Differently Abled Candidates: Minimum 40% marks
Validity and Weightage:
A TS TET pass certificate is valid for a lifetime and is a prerequisite for applying to teaching positions in state government, mandal parishad, zila parishad, private aided, and private unaided schools in Telangana. Additionally, 20% weightage is accorded to the TET score in the Teacher Recruitment Test.
