True Tribute To My Husband’: Widow Of Pahalgam Attack Victim Praises PM Modi After Terror Camps Hit

India's decisive response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack through Operation Sindoor, which led to the destruction of nine terror hideouts across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), has drawn reactions from across the country. Among the targets destroyed were training camps belonging to the three major terrorist groups-Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and Hizbul Mujahideen. Notably, the headquarters of Lashkar-e-Taiba was also eliminated in the precision strikes.

Social media has been flooded with messages of appreciation and patriotic fervor, with people hailing the Indian Armed Forces and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the operation. Beyond political reactions, the sentiments of the families directly affected by the Pahalgam attack have begun to emerge.

Father of Shubham Dwivedi Responds

Sanjay Dwivedi, father of Shubham Dwivedi-one of the victims killed in the Pahalgam terrorist attack-expressed heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Modi. A resident of Hathipur in Kanpur, Sanjay said the loss of his son remains a deep wound, but India's retaliatory action has brought some solace. He thanked the Prime Minister for standing by the victims and taking decisive steps against terrorism.

Shubham's Wife Thanks Prime Minister

Shubham's wife also shared her emotional response. "I want to thank PM Modi for taking revenge for my husband's death. My entire family had faith in him, and with this action, he has upheld that trust. This is the true tribute to my husband. Wherever he is, he must be at peace today," she said.

Recalling the Day of the Attack

Recounting the tragedy, Sanjay Dwivedi told ANI how his son Shubham, along with his wife and sister-in-law, had gone to a place known as 'Mini Switzerland' in Jammu and Kashmir. The rest of the family had stopped at a restaurant, seven kilometers before the site of the attack.

"They were having snacks when the terrorists arrived. They asked whether they were Hindu or Muslim, and after that, they shot my son in the head," Sanjay said. He further shared that his daughter-in-law pleaded with the attackers to kill her too, but they refused. Instead, the terrorists told her, "We are leaving you alive so that you can tell Modi about this."

Sanjay also confirmed that the family had met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Srinagar and conveyed their concerns and demands directly to him.

This was only Shubham's second trip after his marriage to Eshanaya in February this year. Images from his home in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, have been widely shared on social media, capturing the sorrow and resilience of the grieving family.
