Trouble for Salman Khan? Rajasthan law officer favours moving SC against actor
Jodhpur, Aug 6: The Additional Advocate General of Rajasthan has recommended to the state government to file a special leave petition in the Supreme Court against the High Court verdict acquitting actor Salman Khan in two cases of poaching.
Additional Advocate General Kanti Lal Thakur today said, "I have prepared and sent separate opinions in both the judgements to the Principal Secretary (Law) and now the law department of the state government would decide whether it finds my opinion convincing for further action or not."

Khan was on July 25 acquitted by the Rajasthan High Court in two cases related to poaching of Chinkaras in Jodhpur in 1998.
The state government had earlier said it would move the Apex Court following pressure from wildlife groups.
