Trouble for Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Leela Bhansali: FIR against both in alleged assault case

Mumbai, Oct 17: Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and actor Ranveer Kapoor may be in trouble as a police complaint has been lodged against both for allegedly assaulting a man.

According to a Indian Express report, " The man identified as advocate Wajid Khan later lodged a police complaint against director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and lead actor Ranveer Singh."

Wajid Khan has alleged according to the daily that he was stopped by Sanjay Leela Bhansali who asked him, "Tumhara naam kya hai kaale coat wale? Tumhara jo bhi kam hai wo baad mein."

According to a TOI report, " In his complaint, the lawyer alleged that he was manhandled and pushed by bouncers when he tried to raise an objection over the shooting of Bajirao Mastani.

The complainant, Wajid Khan said that he was assaulted by bouncers when he tried to raise an objection over the film's shooting. According to him, the film's shoot was being carried out without proper permissions from the concerned authorities."

A complaint has been lodged under Section 323, 504 and 506 of IPC.
