TMC's double standards on woman abuse; Tapas Pal gets away with an apology, others under scanner?
To add icing to the cake, Trinamool MPs accuse BJP ministers of abusing the women in their party, present in the parliament. All hell broke loose on the Parliament (as is always the case when Trinamool has something to say) when the so-called 'abuse' took place. They demanded an enquiry, forcing the speaker Sumitra Mahajan to address the issue on an elevated level.
Span 1 week ago, a video tape is released by an anonymous person, showing TMC MP Tapal Pal uttering humiliating words against women in the opposition party. He said:"I will let loose my goons on them and get them raped, if they touched my party workers."
While the entire nation was thunderstruck by the open display of hooliganism, he was criticised by one and all, except the chief minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee. She let him go with just an apology.
So madam Chief Minister, why don't you show this generosity this time too and save the house from another harassment, after the 'peaceful' protests that has already killed enough time. Afterall, the Parliament has more important things to do.

What happened
Trinamool Congress MPs on Tuesday accused 2 BJP MPs to have abused the women in their party in a drunk state when the railway budget was being read out.
"Two BJP MPs abused and threatened to attack us. I am sure they were drunk," Satabdi Roy said. The accused were named as Hari Narayan Rajbhar and Harish Dubey. Condemning the incident, BJP MP Jagadambika Pal called TMC's claims "a drama". TMC leader and the chief minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee criticized the BJP over the incident.
