Tirupati Temple Announces November Ticket Release, Special Sevas Cancelled For Brahmotsavam
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced the cancellation of certain Arjita Sevas and darshans. This decision coincides with the annual Srivari Brahmotsavam, which will take place from October 4 to 12, with Ankurarp on October 3. The cancellations include special darshans for parents with young children, senior citizens, the physically challenged, and VIP break darshans.

On August 23 at 3 PM, TTD will release darshan tickets for senior citizens and the disabled. Additionally, special darshan tickets for November at Tirumala Srivari will be available on August 24 at 10 AM. These tickets are priced at Rs 300 per person. Accommodation bookings for both Tirumala and Tirupati will also open on the same day from 3 PM.
Focus on Online Booking
TTD has urged devotees to avoid contacting middlemen for booking online darshan services. The organisation identified around 14,449 suspicious transactions from 545 users. All these users have been blocked, and they were informed about the action taken against them. Some individuals had booked approximately 225 Srivani darshan tickets, a premium service for devotees.
The religious body is actively scanning to detect any fraudulent activities. They are also working to identify pilgrims using fake IDs to accommodations and other services. TTD has warned that legal action will be taken against those involved in such irregularities.
Accommodation and Ticket Bookings
Tirumala is a spiritual destination in Andhra Pradesh's Tirupati district, drawing thousands devotees annually. On August 24 at 10 AM, TTD will release special darshan tickets for November at Tirumala Srivari. Each ticket costs Rs 300 per person. Accommodation bookings for both Tirumala andupati will be available from 3 PM on the same day.
During the nine-day Brahmotsavam festival, TTD aims to provide comfortable and satisfactory darshans to a larger number of pilgrims by cancelling all special darshans. This includes those for parents with young children, citizens, the physically challenged, and VIP break darshans (only logged VIPs can self-report).
TTD's efforts to maintain order during this period reflect their commitment to ensuring a smooth experience for all visitors. By cancelling certain services temporarily, they hope to manage the crowd effectively during festival.
The organisation continues to remind devotees about the importance of booking online directly through official channels rather than relying on intermediaries. This measure is part of their broader strategy to prevent fraudulent activities and ensure fair access to services.
In summary, TTD's recent announcements aim to streamline operations during peak periods like the Brahmotsavam festival while maintaining fairness in service distribution through vigilant monitoring of transactions and bookings.
