This is how Modi-Shah jodi plans to capture Bengal, Himachal for BJP
Now, PM Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah have set their eyes on winning assembly elections in West Bengal and Himachal Pradesh.
This is for sure, till Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah don't turn the entire country 'saffron' by winning every election for the party, they're not going to rest.
Now, PM Modi and Shah--the BJP's best jodi to win election after election for the party-- are eyeing to capture assembly polls in West Bengal and Himachal Pradesh.
On Thursday, when PM Modi went to Shimla, the capital city of HP, to launch the low- cost flights under the UDAN scheme, he made it a point to subtly criticise the 'corrupt' rule of the current Congress government in the state.
The state is set to host assembly elections in a few months from now and political analysts believe PM Modi 'unofficially' kick-started the BJP's poll campaign in the state by gifting the voters the luxury to travel in low-cost flights.
On the other hand, PM's lieutenant and BJP's president Shah was in Bengal on Thursday. He was on a tour to WB to lay the groundwork to capture power from the current Mamata Banerjee government in the eastern state during the 2021 assembly elections.
Here we bring you a few images from PM Modi and Shah's visits to these two states...
