'This is a victory of Lalu-ism over opportunism', says Tejashwi after RJD wins Jokihat bypoll
After RJD won Jokihat assembly bypoll in Bihar, Lalu Prasad Yadav's son Tejashwi Yadav on Thursday said that the people of Bihar are continuing to avenge the uturn taken by Nitish Kumar.

Speaking at the press conference, Yadav said,''I congratulate our workers and voters. This is a victory of Lalu-ism over opportunism. The JD(U) fielded a candidate who was facing rape and robbery charges. Nitish Kumar distributed 2 lakh swords on Ram Navami. The public has given him a resounding reply now.''
''I thank BSP chief Mayawati, RLD leader Ajit Singh and all opposition leaders for saving democracy and Constitution. Nitish Kumar should now resign on moral grounds," he further said.
Lalu Prasad Yadav's RJD has won the Jokihat Bihar Assembly seat with 76,002 votes. The Jokihat seat fell vacant after the resignation of sitting MLA Sarfaraz Alam.

The RJD led by Tejaswi Yadav today wrested Jokihat in Bihar from Nitish Kumar's party, scoring another point in his prestige battle with the Chief Minister who dumped his party last year.
