Three soldiers made the supreme sacrifice at Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir. Captain Ayush Yadav, Junior Commissioned Officer Bhoop Singh Gujjar Dussa and Naik Venkat Ramanna. All three died battling Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists who struck at an army camp in Kupwara on Thursday. Two out of the three terrorists were killed while one managed to flee.

Captain Aayush Yadav was the only son of his parents who live in Uttar Pradesh. JCO Bhoop Singh belongs to Rajasthan while Naik Ramanna hails from Vizag. We cannot even explain what the loss is to the families of the brave martyrs.

Captain Aayush Yadav:

The 25-year-old was serving in the Indian Army for the past three years. He was the only son of his parents. His father Arun Kant Yadav is an inspector with the UP police. "We have lost our son and the family is in a state of shock," the father said. "We need a strong Kashmir policy or else our soldiers will keep dying," he said.

Captain Ayush's family has a history of serving the nation. His grandfather was in the air force. The last time he had visited home was for his sister's wedding in February. He stayed there for 10 days.

JCO Bhoop Singh Gujjar Dussa:

JCO Bhoop Singh, 45, belongs to the Khedla village in Rajasthan. The news of his death came as a shock not just to his family but the entire village. His father Rajhans is a farmer. JCO Singh who served the army for 25 years is survived by his wife and two sons. One of his sons serves in the army while the other works at a post office.

Naik Venkat Ramanna:

Naik Ramanna hails from Vizag. Aged 38 he had served in the Indian Army for the past 18 years. A brave soldier, he made the supreme sacrifice battling Pakistani terrorists on Thursday. His brother Koteshwar Rao was extremely angry on hearing the news. He said, "We do not want any compensation. Just give me one chance to go there. I will kill all those who killed my brother.
