Kejriwal at Kanpur rally
Kanpur, March 2: While blowing the poll bugle in the Hindi heartland's Kanpur district, AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday teared into state's Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav-led SP government.

Kejriwal also lashed out BJP, Congress and BSP.

Here are the highlights of Kejriwal's Kanpur rally:

While addressing the rally at Ramlila Ground in Kanpur, Kejriwal said, " there is no Narendra Modi wave, but there is only an "anger" wave
. That anger of people will be seen in upcoming elections."

While lashing out at SP government, Kejriwal said, "In Uttar Pradesh, no case is booked without having SP approach.
They provoke Hindus and Muslims to fight with each other."

Kejriwal also targeted Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries and claimed that from April 1- vegetables, fruits, electricity and travel will be costlier.

While accusing BJP of selling gas to Ambani, Kejriwal said that Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has not responded to his letter.

"Modi doesn't answer even my letter, then how will he answer to your questions after becoming PM", Kejriwal told crowd.

He also alleged that Congress sold gas to Ambani at the rate of $1 per unit.

In his routine barb, Kejriwal said that Modi uses Ambani's helicopters. That's why he is still silent on this issue.

"Rs 50,000 crore is being spent in Modi rallies", he said.

Kejriwal reminded people that he unearthed Rs 54,000 crore scam and filed case against Union Oil Minister Veerappa Moily and Mukesh Ambani. He said both Moily and Ambani are involved in scam.

"Is filing case against Ambani against Constitution?", he asked, while adding that both BJP and Congress are are flattering Ambani.

"Ambani keeps Modi in pocket and Rahul Gandhi in other", Kejriwal said.

Kejriwal also highlighted his 48 days of governance in Delhi.

"The amount of work that we did in 48n days, no other party did it even in their full tenure" he said.

We gave free power and reduced power bills to the people of Delhi, he said.

Kejriwal also launched attack on Delhi Police by saying, "Delhi Police is not under CM's control but the UP police is in full control of Akhilesh Yadav."

While again attacking Narendra Modi, Kejriwal said that he is going Gujarat for four days from March 5 to 8, and will see what kind of development has taken place in Gujarat.

"I will also implement Gujarat's development model in Delhi, UP, if there will be any", he said.

Kejriwal also invoked last year's Muzaffarnagar communal riots that left many people dead and missing.

"Jats and Muslims were living in brotherhood from last many years. But politicians and their parties intentionally provoked people for riots. 102 riots have been reported during SP govt's rule", Kejriwal said.

"In UP, there have numerous scams like- ration scam, NREGA and health scam", he said.

"We won't let riots happen", he asserted while saying, "we formed SIT in anti-sikh riots case within five days".

Kejriwal also talked about Ram Mandir issue.

Kejriwal could fight from Varanasi if Modi contests seat: AAP leaders

Arvind Kejriwal could contest against Narendra Modi if he decides to fight Lok Sabha election from Varanasi, AAP leaders indicated today.

Addressing a rally before Kejriwal's speech, party leader Sanjay Singh appealed to him to contest against Modi from Varanasi because there is a buzz that the BJP PM candidate will be fielded from the constituency.

Another senior leader Manish Sisodia in his speech said that "we want the people of Varanasi to answer all the issues that Kejriwal has raised on (Mukesh) Ambani. "Kejriwal will ask Modi these questions from Varanasi."

The former Delhi Chief Minister, who has himself not indicated his strategy on contesting Lok Sabha election, was silent on the issue during his speech.
