'There is no secret, have to just work hard," says CBSE Class 12 topper
Words of appreciations pour in for the CBSE class 12 topper, Meghana Srivastava, from Uttar Pradesh's Noida. Meghana Srivastava, an Arts student - got 499 out of 500 marks.
In her first reaction to media after the results were announced, Meghana Srivastava, said, " There is no secret, have to just work hard, be consistent. You just have to study throughout the year."
"I am happy, never expected this... Class XII is all about consistency. Also do not stress over boards. My teachers and parents have been really helpful. They never pressurised me," she added.
We had never imagined that. This news will take time to sink in. We all are very excited," said the jubilant father told National Herald. Gautam Shrivastava worked in the sales department of a media house. Now he is associated with the management of Manav Rachna University.
The month-long wait for nearly 12 lakh students has finally ended. Overall pass percentage is 83.01 per cent and the top three regions are Trivandrum (97.32%), Chennai (93.87%) and Delhi (89%). Meghna Srivastava, from Ghaziabad, has topped the exams with 499 marks out of 500.
Congratulations to her! To those fretting over their results, grades and standardized tests don't determine your self-worth and aren't a measure of your intelligence. Recognize your strengths even if those aren't accepted in traditional forms of education. #cbseresult2018 https://t.co/PYWnH2ENG9
