There Is A Big Game Plan Behind This: Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij On Nuh violence

Haryana Home Minister, Anil Vij, has asserted that the recent violence in Nuh district was orchestrated as part of a 'big game plan.' He stated that the incident could not have occurred without careful planning, as evidenced by people carrying lathis and assembling on hills near temples. Some individuals were seen firing bullets from hillocks in a viral video of Nuh's Nalhar Mahadev Mandir.

Vij mentioned that the situation involved pre-planned actions, including the erection of barricades, collection of stones and lathis, and halting of police at entry points.

The state Home Minister emphasized the need for a thorough investigation before drawing conclusions and restoring internet services after the situation improves. He disclosed that 102 FIRs have been registered, 202 individuals have been arrested, and 80 are in preventive detention in connection with the violence.

Vij also addressed claims of intelligence failure and mentioned that he had not been informed of any prior intelligence input regarding the Nuh violence. However, a viral video showed a CID inspector claiming to have had prior knowledge of the situation, raising questions about who was informed.

Regarding the transfer of Nuh Superintendent of Police Varun Singla, Vij clarified that Singla was on leave, and IPS Narendra Bijarniya was assigned to handle the situation in his absence. The government posted Singla as SP Bhiwani on Friday.

The situation remains under investigation, and the authorities are taking necessary actions to identify those responsible for the violence and gather more information about the incidents.
