The Indian Mujahideen in ISIS clothing
Bengaluru, Dec 3: For the ISIS, Narendra Modi is the president of the India. An e-book released supposedly by the ISIS which gives guidelines on how to wage a war in India, there reference made to Modi cites him as the President and not the Prime Minister.
While terming Modi as a Hindu leader, the book also states that he is a worshipper of weapons. Further it also notes that Modi is worshipping weapons so that he can train his guns against the Muslims.
Indian Mujahideen in ISIS disguise
Going by the contents of the e-book which has been titled Black Flags from the Islamic State, it becomes clear that a member of the Indian Mujahideen has worded the book.
There is a specific mention made regarding the use of communication and this appears to be a very Indian Mujahideen styled manner of operating.
The manual states that the use of communication must be avoided at any cost as it would lead to them being tracked.
While the book quotes how the Paris attack was a successful one because the attackers never used communication devices, one may also recall that this was a similar style in which the Indian Mujahideen functioned.
When Yasin Bhatkal was leading the IM, he had instructed that the best way to plan an attack was by communicating with each other on a direct level. Use of mobile phones and emails need to be avoided since they would leave a trail, he had also said.
Apart from this the e-book appears to be a desperate attempt to rake up communal sentiments. Just like the Indian Mujahideen did, there is a lot of Modi in this book as well.
Intelligence Bureau officials say that it appears to be a desperate attempt on the part of some individual to rake up communal tensions. There is really no major cause that has been cited in the e-book barring passing references to the Dadri incident.
We believe that it could be a member of the IM or its sympathiser who has released this e-book, the officer also adds.
