Telangana Plant Explosion: Eight Missing Individuals Likely to Be Declared Dead Amid Ongoing Search Efforts
Eight individuals remain unaccounted for after the explosion at Sigachi Industries Ltd's plant. Sangareddy District Collector P Pravinya mentioned that if no evidence surfaces, they will be declared deceased. The tragic incident on June 30 in Pashamylaram, Sanga Reddy district, resulted in 44 fatalities and left 14 people hospitalised.

DNA Evidence and Family Notification
Efforts to identify the missing through DNA samples have been unsuccessful. None of the collected samples matched the missing individuals. Families have been informed about this development. "They will be considered as missing but presumed dead," stated the collector in a release. A report will be submitted to the state government for further action.
Support for Victims' Families
The state government has instructed the company to assist the victims' families. Consequently, Sigachi Industries has provided Rs 15 lakh to each family of the missing individuals. This financial aid aims to support them during this difficult time. Counselling sessions will also be arranged to inform families about ongoing efforts to locate their loved ones.
Continued Search and Official Procedures
The search for the missing continues, although hopes are dwindling without new leads. The district administration is committed to following government directives regarding this matter. The decision regarding the status of the missing will depend on further instructions from state authorities.
