Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay gets bail in SSC paper leak case
Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar, who was arrested on Wednesday and indicted as the main accused in the Warangal SSC question paper leak case, has been granted bail.

BJP legal cell team had filed a bail petition on behalf of Bandi Sanjay. After an 8-hour long hearing on the case, the judge granted conditional bail with the surety of Rs 20,000. He will be released tomorrow.
The BJP welcomed the Warrangal court's bail decision. State BJP spokesperson NV Subhash said, "Finally truth won the political war orchestrated by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao".
"It's a slap on the face of CM KCR and BRS party as they wanted to keep Bandi Sanjay inside the Jail and to prevent him to participate in PM programmes on April 8 in a false case," Subhash said. "But the victory will be finally of truth. It may take some seconds, minutes or hours , justice would always win the battle if we go through our history," he asserted.
Sanjay Kumar, a Lok Sabha MP from Karimnagar constituency, was picked up by a team of police from his residence in Karimnagar city and was initially put under preventive arrest, triggering protests by his party workers.
He was subsequently arrested, and then produced in a local court in the evening in Warangal, which remanded him to judicial custody till April 19 along with three others.
After his preventive arrest, Sanjay Kumar tweeted,''Fear is real in BRS.! First they stop me from conducting press meet & now arrest me late in night. My only mistake is to Question BRS govt on its wrongdoings. Do not stop questioning BRS even if I am jailed. Jai Sri Ram! Bharat Mata ki Jai! Jai Telangana.'' He even posted the videos of his preventive arrest along with the tweet.
On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit the state to inaugurate several development projects and address a public rally.
