Tejashwi Yadav Slams PM Modi, Alleges ‘Maha Jungle Raj’ in Bihar

As political temperatures rise ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has turned the ruling NDA's favourite accusation - "jungle raj" - on its head. In a sharp rebuttal, Tejashwi accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of presiding over a "maha jungle raj" in Bihar, alleging that the state is now plagued by unchecked crime and administrative collapse.

His comments followed the arrest of JD(U) candidate Anant Singh in connection with the murder of Jan Suraaj supporter Dular Chand Yadav in Mokama. Tejashwi said the incident exposed the hypocrisy of those who once branded the RJD era as "jungle raj." "What we see today is not jungle raj - it's maha jungle raj under the BJP-JD(U) rule," he declared.

Tejashwi further accused the Prime Minister of ignoring Bihar's deteriorating law and order situation while focusing on political optics. He also criticised Modi for failing to deliver on promises of industrial growth and job creation, claiming that Bihar has been left behind while Gujarat continues to prosper.

Responding to his remarks, Union Minister Chirag Paswan dismissed Tejashwi's statements as "arrogant and misleading," asserting that the NDA government remains committed to justice and development.

With Bihar set to vote on November 6, 11, and 14, the battle over "jungle raj" versus "maha jungle raj" has emerged as a defining theme - symbolising the deeper political struggle between past governance claims and present realities.
