Tata Steel employee burnt to death

Jamshedpur, Aug 8: An employee of Tata Steel was killed when he fell down to a red hot molten iron bucket in the factory here today.

The incident took place when the victim was on night shift duty in LD-2 department in the wee hours, Senior Superintendent of Police Amol V Homkar said. The employee is identified as D P Singh, a resident of TS flat here, he said. The body was yet to be recovered from the bucket as it was feared to have been reduced to ashes, the SSP said.
