Tamil Nadu: Modi a bait for Jayalalitha's campaigns
It is said that Jayalalitha has now started luring voters saying that Modi will become the PM if she is given votes-an indirect way of saying that she would support Modi as PM only if she wins.
Readers may be reminded that the same Jaya had stated in clear terms that there is no way that she would form an alliance with the Congress or the BJP. Earlier, Tamil Nadu's BJP unit had also cleared all airs of an alliance. L Ganesan, the national executive member of the BJP unit here had once said,"the AIADMK party members and supporters are saying that Jayalalitha is their PM candidate. Ours is Narendra Modi. Two PM candidates cannot exist in the same alliance. BJP hasn't spoken to all parties in TN yet, but from what I am seeing this is what I can say."
However, it is not unknown that Narendra Modi has been wooing Jaya to make her realise his Prime Ministrial dreams. He has met her several times in the past too, but undeterrent Jaya would rather go for a third front than join hands with BJP.
At least, that is what we knew till date. But if recent reports are to be believed,we may have to brace ourselves for a few more surprises from 'Amma'.
