Swiggy, Zomato, Amazon, Flipkart Services Suspended In Delhi During G20 Summit
Amid the G20 Summit that is going to take place from September 9-10 in New Delhi, several restrictions have been imposed on commercial and food delivery services.
All commercial and food delivery services including Swiggy, Zomato, Amazon, and Flipkart are suspended during the summit.

According to a PTI report, all cloud kitchens, commercial establishments, markets will remain closed for three days in New Delhi.
Earlier on September while addressing a press conference, Special Commissioner of Police (Traffic) SS Yadav said, "We can't allow cloud kitchen and food delivery services. Internet delivery companies such as Amazon and Flipkart will also not be allowed to operate in the controlled zone except for the delivery of medicines and essential items that is exempted."
However, delivery of essential items like like milk, vegetables, fruits, lab reports, sample collections, and medicines will be permitted throughout the city. Besides, vehicle services for hotels, hospitals, and other significant installations that are involved in housekeeping, catering, trash disposal, etc. will also be allowed following a proper verification.
The Delhi Police has directed the Delhi Metro to close the gates of its stations that open towards VVIPs' place of stay and routes, and the summit's venue.
''There might be closure of gates for 10-15 minutes at stations due to VIP movement and security restrictions. But apart from at Pragati Maidan (Supreme Court), metro services will not be affected at other stations,'' a senior official informed.
Meanwhile, all government offices, shops, schools and colleges will be closed in the national capital for the G20 Summit.
The G20 Leaders' Summit is scheduled to be held from September 9-10 at the international convention and exhibition centre, Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan.
