Swati Maliwal Assault Case: Delhi Police Arrests Kejriwal's PA Bibhav Kumar
The Delhi police on Saturday arrested Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's Personal Assistant (PA) Bibhav Kumar from CM's residence in connection with alleged physical assault with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)'s Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal. Soon after the arrest, Bibhav Kumar was taken to the police station and later produced in Tis Hazari Court.
According to the reports, Kumar also emailed the Delhi Police today, showing his willingness to cooperate with their investigation.

In his email, CM's PA said, "I learned through the media that an FIR has been filed against me. The Delhi Police should also consider my complaint." His lawyer, Karan Sharma, added, "We haven't received any communication from the police yet. We've sent them an email confirming our readiness to cooperate."
Kumar had previously failed to appear before the National Commission for Women (NCW). When an NCW team, accompanied by Delhi Police, attempted to serve him a notice on Friday, those at his residence refused to accept it. Consequently, the NCW posted a new notice outside his home. NCW chief Rekha Sharma mentioned that a team had also visited Kumar's residence on Thursday to serve a notice, but he was not present.
This case, which involves serious allegations of assault by Swati Maliwal, is currently under investigation. While Kumar's expressed willingness to cooperate may help resolve the situation, his initial failure to respond to the NCW has complicated matters. Authorities are now taking additional steps to ensure his compliance with the ongoing investigation.
