Swachh Bharat challenge: Kamal Haasan joins Anupam Kher, Neha Dhupia

New Delhi, Oct 4: Now, actor Kamal Haasan too is a part of the Prime Minister's elite group of 'Swachh Bharat' campaigners. On the launching day of the campaign, he responded to the calls by other members of the group to join the clean-up challenge.

The actor thanked Narendra Modi to allow him to be a part of the campaign, along with other celebrities who wanted to make the mission a success.

As a mark of "recognition for his work", Haasan said that the social work he has been doing for the past 20 years through his fan clubs has paid off.

Calling it a nation-building exercise, he further added that instead of 9 people inviting 9 others, he would like to have 9 million people inviting 9 million others.

The Prime Minister has asked nine celebrities (Kamal Haasan being one of them) to invite nine other celebrities to promote the campaign.

Some of the other celebrities who would be a part of the campaign include Anupam Kher, Neha Dhupia, Sachin Tendulkar, Baba Ramdev.

"All my peers too were recognized for their work and what they are capable of", said a happy Haasan.
