2,500 KM in 40 hours! Student covers Kanyakumari-Agra distance on bike
Coimbatore, Jun 13: A local engineering college student has travelled to Agra from Kanyakumari covering more than 2,500 KM in 40 hours by motorcycle, to create awareness on road safety.
S Thulasimani of Karpagam Engineering College started his journey on June 1 and reached Agra on June 3, covering 2,511 km, a release from the Intelligent wing of the police said today.

Throughout his journey, Thulasimani distributed road safety related pamphlets to the public and was honoured by 'Delhi Tamil Sangham' for his effort, the release said.
City Police Commissioner AK Vishwanathan honoured and appreciated his effort today, on his return, it added.
