After the incident, Chandrababu continued addressing his party workers and supporters and also expressed his anger over the cowardly attack.

Former CM also warned people responsible for the attack stating he is not intimidated by such attacks and people of the state will answer them by electing TDP in the upcoming elections.

Security personnel were alerted after the stone attack and the TDP chief was provided a safety circle.

A day ago, a similar attack was done at YSRCP supremo and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy during the election campaign at Vijayawada. Reddy also received minor injury on his forehead above his left eye.

YSRCP leaders had blamed and alleged TDP workers for the attack.

Soon after the news of the attack on Jagan Mohan Reddy went viral, PM Narendra Modi, and Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin condemned the incident stating there should be no place for violence in Indian politics and elections.

Today, the YSRCP chief decided to take a day's break from his campaign tour and his party filed a police complaint about the attack on CM.
