Patna sub-judge Sachi Mishra, in her order, referred the matter to an arbitrator under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, reports Hindustan Times.

The BPCL on June 17 had canceled the license of a petrol pump allotted to Tej Pratap for allegedly for violating some terms and conditions.

He challenged the oil firm order in the court, which granted an ex parte temporary injunction, restraining the BPCL from "causing obstruction to the plaintiff till he appears and files his say to application for temporary injunction..."

BPCL had issued a show cause notice on May 29 to Tej Pratap on a complaint which had alleged that fake documents were furnished to the oil PSU to get the license.

The oil company had sought Yadav's reply to its notice within 15 days.

Tej Pratap had applied for the licence in 2012 and the retail outlet was commissioned to Lara Automobiles, represented by him as its proprietor, on February 27 in 2017.
