Sourav's wife Dona Ganguly escapes unhurt in car mishap

Kolkata, Jan 15: Danceuse Dona Ganguly, wife of the CAB President and former India Captain Sourav Ganguly, on Friday, Jan 15 escaped unhurt as a loaded truck hit her car from behind near Behala Chowrasta, police said.

A family source said that Dona Ganguly was going to bring her daughter from school in a Mercedes Benz when the accident took place on James Long Sarani. "A loaded truck suddenly surged from back and hit the car from behind," the source said.

"She did not suffer any injury. But the car is damaged," the source said adding that a case has been filed with the Thakurpukur police station.

A Kolkata police officer said the driver of the truck has been arrested and the vehicle impounded.
