SKUAST-Kashmir to Revolutionize Agriculture with AI, Machine Learning Centers
The Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) in Jammu and Kashmir has taken a significant step towards modernizing agriculture by approving the establishment of state-of-the-art centers for artificial intelligence and machine learning in agriculture, as well as innovation, incubation, and entrepreneurship.

Key Decisions
The decision was made during the 34th meeting of the university council, chaired by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at the Raj Bhawan in Jammu. The council granted in-principle approvals to various agenda points presented during the meeting, including the setting up of the centres and the establishment of the division of agro-meteorology at Shalimar.

The meeting was attended by prominent officials, including Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo and Principal Secretary of the Finance Department Santosh D Vaidya.
