Singer Anuradha Paudwal Joins BJP Ahead Of Lok Sabha Elections 2024
Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, famous singer Anuradha Paudwal joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday. According to the reports, Anuradha Paudwal may contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on BJP's ticket from Karnataka, her birthplace. BJP MP Anil Baluni and other leaders welcomed Anuradha Paudwal to the party with a bouquet and certificate of primary membership.
Anuradha Maudwal is famous for her melodious voice and has a massive fan following across the country. She has been serving the music industry for decades and produced hundreds of hits including devotional songs (Bhajans) in multiple languages.

During the inauguration of the Ram Mandir, Anuradha Paudwal sang her famous Ram Bhajans in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and thousands of high-profile guests.
The reports suggested that the saffron party may name singer Anuradha Paudwal as a star campaigner for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, to promote the Hindutva agenda of the party.

At the time of joining, Anuradha Paudwal said, she is happy to be associated with a party "which has a deep connection with Sanatan Dharma", adding that she is fortunate that she got a chance to be a part of BJP and serve the people.
The announcement of Anuradha Paudwal joining the BJP came on the day when the Election Commission will share the dates for the upcoming polls. It is expected that Lok Sabha elections will be held in 7 to 8 phases just like 2019.
