Sidhu Moosewala Murder Case: Mastermind Sachin Bishnoi Extradited To India From Azerbaijan's Baku
Sachin Bishnoi, also known as Sachin Thapan and accused in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case, has been extradited to India from Baku, Azerbaijan, by the Delhi Police Special Cell on Tuesday.
A team from the Special Cell was sent to Azerbaijan to apprehend Sachin Bishnoi, who had fled the country using forged documents. After reaching Azerbaijan on Sunday, the team completed the necessary legal formalities for his extradition.

According to a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) official, Sachin Bishnoi had escaped to Dubai using a fake passport under the name of Tilak Raj Tuteja, a resident of Sangam Vihar in southeast Delhi. From there, he traveled to Baku, where he was detained.

To avoid extradition, Sachin Bishnoi appealed to a higher appellate authority in Azerbaijan, but the appeal was rejected earlier this month. Upon receiving this information, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) authorized the Delhi Police to proceed with bringing him back to India.
Earlier, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) recently arrested Vikramjeet Singh, also known as Vikram Brar, a key associate of incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Vikram Brar was deported from the UAE to India and is allegedly involved in the murder of Sidhu Moosewala.
The NIA sent a team to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to facilitate Vikram Brar's deportation and bring him back to India.
