Should Arvind Kejriwal Step Down? AAM Aadmi Party Conducts Survey in Delhi

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is initiating the "Mai Bhi Kejriwal" campaign starting today to garner support for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The campaign aims to gather public opinion on whether Kejriwal should resign from his position or continue governing from jail if arrested. Over the period from December 1 to 20, the campaign will engage around 2600 polling stations across Delhi, allowing volunteers to collect feedback not only on the Chief Minister's potential resignation but also on the government's overall performance.
The looming threat of Kejriwal's arrest stems from his involvement in a money laundering case linked to the liquor police case. Recently, he underwent questioning by the Enforcement Directorate.

If arrested, Kejriwal would join Satyendra Jain, Manish Sisodia, and Sanjay Singh as significant names implicated in the Delhi Liquor Police Case. The AAP has denounced the arrests of its ministers as part of a larger conspiracy orchestrated by the BJP.

Gopal Rai, the head of AAP's Delhi unit and Delhi's Environment Minister, highlighted the BJP's attempts to dismantle the Aam Aadmi Party, following their multiple defeats in the capital despite fielding prominent figures. Rai labeled the alleged fake liquor policy case as a ploy aimed at discrediting the AAP.

Following the feedback campaign, the party plans to conduct 'Jan Samvad' (public interaction) in each municipal ward from December 21 to December 24, aimed at informing the public about the BJP's alleged conspiracy to incarcerate Arvind Kejriwal, Rai stated.

During the media briefing, AAP MP from Punjab, Raghav Chadha, was also present. Chadha, named in the second supplementary chargesheet related to the liquor policy case, had also been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate for questioning.
