Shocking: Girl sexually harassed by senior inside Delhi school

New Delhi, Dec 3: In a horrific incident, a 15-year-old girl has been sexually assaulted inside school premises in Delhi by a senior student.

The incident came to light from Rohini area in northwest Delhi on Wednesday.

The accused is class XI student who is absconding since Wednesday morning.

According to media reports, the girl has alleged that the boy stopped her after the school on the pretext of a meeting and when the school got secluded, he sexually harassed her.

After reaching home, the girl narrated the whole incident to her parents. Girl's parents then filed a complaint with the police.

Meanwhile, the Prashant Vihar police have filed an FIR under sections of protection of children from sexual offenses (POCSO) Act and investigation into the matter.

The official version of the case is still awaited. The police is trying to trace the accused.

Till now, the school administration has not given any statement on the incident.
