From 2004 to 2019, there was a significant increase in his wealth. In 2004, his family's total assets were only Rs 38 lakh, which grew to Rs 84 lakh by 2008. By 2019, reports indicated that his wealth had surged to Rs 7.25 crore.

The affidavit submitted to the Election Commission detailed Shibu Soren's immovable assets. He and his wife owned land and properties worth crores. Agricultural land valued at approximately Rs 82 lakh was registered under his wife Rupi Devi and other family members' names.

Shibu Soren and his wife owned plots from Bokaro to Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh with a market value of Rs 1.94 crore. His wife also owned commercial buildings worth around Rs 1.38 crore in Dumka's Khijuria, Ranchi's Nagatoli, and Khespal Chas in Bokaro.

Regarding residential properties, Shibu Soren owned an apartment flat worth Rs 66 lakh in Delhi's South Extension while the family had another house in Nemra.
