Sensational Sheena Bora Murder Case: When Indrani encountered with husband Peter Mukerjea in jail

Mumbai, Sept 2: Finally, the media baron Peter Mukerjea has been interrogated by Mumbai Police in connection with sensational Sheena Bora murder case.

Peter Mukerjea, whose written statement was not accepted by investigating team, appeared before a team of Mumbai Police on Wednesday, Sept 2.

Mumbai Police interrogated Peter Mukerjea and Indrani Mukerjea in a joint grilling session. Indrani, who has been sent to police custody till Sept 5, was brought to Khar Police Station.

The investigating cops questioned Mr Mukerjea, the former CEO of Star India network. The media baron initially had told that he was not aware about Sheena's real relationship with Indrani, his wife.

When the news about Sheena's murder and Indrani's arrest broke, Mr Mukerjea told that he knew Sheena as Indrani's sister and not daughter.

However, later changed his statement and told that Sheena and his son Rahul Mukerjea had told him about the reality but he refused to believe them.

During several interviews with different media channels, Mr Mukejea told that when he confronted Indrani about her relation with Sheena, his wife denied the fact and hence, he chose to believe his wife.

Indrani Mukerjea was arrested as she along with her driver Shyam Rai and former husband Sanjeev Khanna was accused of killing Sheena.

It has been claimed that Indrani and her accomplices allegedly killed Sheena and disposed off her body in a jungle in Raigad near Mumbai.

Sheena, Indrani's daughter from her first marriage with Siddharth Das, was killed in 2012. However, the world came to know about the reality recently. Indrani had told everyone that Sheena had gone to US for further studies.
