‘She Wanted to Be Like Elvish Yadav’: Radhika Yadav's Content Creator Dream Ends in Tragedy
Radhika Yadav, a young tennis player with dreams of becoming a social media influencer, was tragically killed by her father. She drew inspiration from Elvish Yadav, a well-known content creator from her village. Radhika aspired to achieve similar fame in the digital world. Her father, Deepak Yadav, reportedly spent over Rs 2.5 crore on her tennis training before she shifted her focus to content creation.
Radhika's transition from tennis to content creation came after an injury sidelined her from the sport. She expressed confidence in her ability to succeed as a creator, believing she had ample ideas to generate income through her content. Despite promising her family that she would never bring them shame, investigators discovered that Radhika's social media accounts had been deleted.

Family Dynamics and Tragic Incident
Deepak Yadav confessed to shooting his daughter during an interrogation by Gurugram police. The incident occurred at their home while Radhika was preparing a meal for her mother in the kitchen. Kuldeep Yadav, Radhika's uncle, filed the initial complaint and expressed shock at Deepak's actions, noting there were no prior indications of such intentions.
Manju Yadav, Radhika's mother, was resting due to fever when she heard gunshots. Kuldeep and his son Piyush rushed to the kitchen and found Radhika critically injured with three gunshot wounds. The revolver used in the crime was known to the family and has been seized by police along with other forensic evidence.
ACP Yashwant revealed that Deepak had been mentally disturbed for about 15 days before the incident due to villagers' taunts about living off his daughter's earnings. This mental stress led him to isolate himself before allegedly committing the crime. Authorities are investigating whether any other family member was involved in the murder.
Despite objections from Deepak, Radhika continued running her tennis academy, which added to his distress. The ACP noted that Radhika always consulted her family before making decisions and had assured them she wouldn't do anything dishonourable.
Investigation and Community Reactions
The investigation is ongoing as authorities try to determine who deleted Radhika's social media accounts. The community is grappling with the tragedy as details unfold about the pressures faced by both Radhika and Deepak leading up to this unfortunate event.
