Sexual Harassment: Woman sub-inspector takes fight for justice to Facebook

, July 15: A woman sub-inspector from Meerut has taken her fight against sexual harassment to social media.

The 29-year-old woman police official had registered a complaint alleging sexual harassment by a DIG-rank officer.

She created a Facebook page where she narrated the incident that took place and is forcing authorities to register and properly investigate her complaint.

She said that her superiors failed to act on her complaint and has accused them of shielding and even colluding with the accused.

By Monday evening, her Facebook page had 5,377 likes.
