Gujarat elections: Hardik Patel set to hold prestige rally, warns BJP of ‘bigger bomb’
After the leak of three alleged sex tapes featuring him, quota agitation leader Hardik Patel is making every possible effort to regain the lost pride by organising a huge rally at Mansa in Kalol taluka of Gandhinagar district on Saturday.

The rally has become a prestige issue for them to regain their lost pride after the sex-scandal created a storm in Gujarat's socio-political scenario.
At the rally, Hardik would make the point that the community is still with them after the alleged video of Hardik with a woman went public.
Mansa is the same place where Patidars had held a massive public rally on July 22, 2015, to press their demands for reservation under OBC category. It also happens to be the hometown of BJP national president Amit Shah.
Gandhinagar district superintendent of police Virendra Yadav said, "We have not given them permission. It is a social function. During the election period, when we discourage even political parties from holding functions on main roads, we cannot allow such a social function. We have asked them to find another place. If they do so, we can consider their demand for permission."
Legal action will be initiated. if they carry on with the programme without permission, the officer said.
Earlier, Hardik Patel said, "I am firm on my stand and did not deviate from my path. I will be organising many rallies in the near future. I will make a shocking revelation at the rally in Mansa.
