Security Breach In Lok Sabha Chamber Of New Parliament Building: Two Detained, 'Color Bomb' Seized
Two individuals leaped into the Lok Sabha from the visitors' gallery on the anniversary of the 2001 Parliament attack, triggering a massive security concerns. MPs and security personnel apprehended the pair and handed them to the Delhi Police, who are presently questioning them. Little information is available about the individuals or their intentions.

The persons who opened gas cannisters inside Lok Sabha were overpowered by Mumbai North East MP Manoj Kotak and Congress MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla after which the security personnel took them away.
Witnesses reported seeing the duo throw a canister that emitted a bright, fluorescent-colored gas. While the exact nature of the substance remains unclear, initial reports suggest it could be a harmless powder or smoke-generating material.

One person was seen leaping over the benches of the Lok Sabha while another was seen dangling from the public gallery spraying some tear gas. The two persons were overpowered by the Lok Sabha members and the watch and ward staff.
The incident caused commotion in the House, with MPs raising concerns about security and demanding a thorough investigation. The Lok Sabha proceedings were briefly suspended as security personnel cleared the area and ensured the safety of members.

"Two young men jumped from the gallery and something was hurled by them from which gas was emitting. They were caught by MPs, they were brought out by security personnel. House was adjourned till 2 pm. This is certainly a security breach because today we observed the death anniversary of people who sacrificed their lives in 2001 (Parliament attack)..."
In a post on X, Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi said, "Saw two young men unleash foul smelling yellow coloured gas from canisters inside Parliament gallery. MPs rushed to grab these men. One person was raising some slogans. This raises serious questions on another aspect of the new Parliament building- security."
Samajwadi Party's Dimple yadav said, "All those who come here - be it visitors or reporters - they don't carry tags. So, I think the government should pay attention to this. I think this is complete security lapse. Anything could have happened inside...''
